We stand behind the Never-Freeze Device and our monitoring service, which is why we offer the

Never-Freeze Guarantee: If your waterlines freeze while using Never-Freeze, we will refund the full cost of your device and any subscription fees paid.

To qualify for this guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Proper Heat Tape Installation: The heat tape must be properly installed by a qualified installer in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Timely Action on Alerts: Alerts from Never-Freeze must be acted upon in a timely manner to prevent freeze-ups if power is lost or a low temperature is detected.

  • Active Subscription: The Never-Freeze monitoring subscription must be active and in good standing at the time of the freeze-up.

  • Proper Probe Placement: The Never-Freeze temperature probe must be making direct contact with the heat tape to accurately monitor performance.

  • Dry Installation Location: The Never-Freeze device must be installed in a dry location and protected from direct exposure to water, excessive humidity, or corrosive environments.

  • Proper Power Supply: The heat tape and Never-Freeze device must be continuously powered with a stable electrical connection. Power outages or disruptions beyond our control void the guarantee.

  • Approved Heat Tape: Only manufacturer-approved heat tape rated for freeze prevention must be used. Old, defective, or incompatible heat tape is not covered.

  • Regular Maintenance: The user must perform regular inspections and maintenance of the heat tape and waterlines as recommended by the heat tape manufacturer.

  • No Tampering: The Never-Freeze device, temperature probe, and electrical connections must not be modified, altered, or tampered with in any way.

  • Correct Environmental Conditions: Never-Freeze must be installed in an area where temperatures do not exceed its operational limits and where it is protected from extreme conditions that could interfere with normal operation.

  • Notification Responsibility: The customer is responsible for monitoring and acting upon Never-Freeze alerts. Failing to respond to notifications, ignoring warnings, or delayed action will void the guarantee.

  • External Factors Not Covered: This guarantee does not cover freeze-ups caused by:

    • Extreme weather events (e.g., record-breaking cold, natural disasters)

    • Power failures outside of the user’s control

    • Broken waterlines unrelated to the monitored heat tape

    • Any other external factors beyond the control of the Never-Freeze device

  • Proof of Compliance: Claims must be accompanied by proof that all conditions were met, including:

    • Installation by a qualified professional (invoice or proof of work)

    • Regular maintenance records

    • Verification of active subscription at the time of failure

This guarantee applies only when the Never-Freeze system has been properly installed, maintained, and actively monitored in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Any failure caused by improper installation, lack of maintenance, power interruptions, environmental factors beyond the device’s control, or failure to act upon alerts will void the guarantee. Never-Freeze is a monitoring and alert system and does not physically prevent freezing; ultimate responsibility for acting upon alerts and maintaining the system lies with the user.
